The product is a United Mine Workers of America 8 hour token from 1898, carved from mother of pearl. This token represents a piece of labor history from the United States, specifically within the trade union movement. The token does not have any signatures but holds significance as a symbol of solidarity and collective bargaining for miners in the late 19th century.
